Northcoders – one of the UK's premier coding bootcamp providers – has appointed Sarah Byrne as its new HR Director. Sarah has over 20 years’ HR experience and has joined Northcoders from SysGroup PLC UK MSP where she was Head of People. Prior to that, she held global HR positions at at Qurate Retail Group and QVC.
As a strategic leader, Sarah is an expert in developing and implementing comprehensive people plans that are fully aligned with a company’s vision and goals. Her primary focus at Northcoders will be on driving ongoing cultural transformation to ensure it builds on its commitment of being a truly inclusive workplace. She will also be managing employee engagement, nurturing talent by helping to foster an environment where people thrive and contribute to organisational growth, and she will be working with the board on key change projects.
Sarah is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development, she has a Business & Management BSc, and holds the Institute of Leadership and Management’s Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring qualification which is designed for managers with responsibility for coaching and mentoring as part of their day-to-day role.
