Lancashire digital agency Nublue is now an official member of the Boost & Co. group run by Boost Business Lancashire, the £7.8million ERDF-backed Lancashire Business Growth Hub.
Nublue joins over 65 members helping to support the growth of Lancashire businesses, including NatWest, Yorkshire Bank, Santander, Forbes Solicitors, The Business Enterprise Trust, Edge Hill University and Lancaster & Morecambe College – as well as the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, the UK’s leading business organisation the FSB and the local councils of Blackpool, Burnley, Chorley and Fylde.
About Boost
Boost Business Lancashire aims to grow the county’s economy, creating jobs and helping establish new businesses by providing support and access to funded business growth programmes – both for new start-ups and established businesses.
Led by Lancashire County Council and the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership, Boost has already helped to create “new economic activity valued in excess of £50m” according to Jennifer Mein, leader of Lancashire County Council – telling Insider Media that “It’s been one of the most successful and engaging business support services we’ve ever had in Lancashire.”
As of November 2015, Boost had helped over 2,800 businesses, beating its target to create over 1,200 jobs and achieving an 82% recommendation rating from the businesses they’ve supported.
Nublue membership
As a Boost & Co. member Nublue will publicise the initiative to its client base, promoting Boost’s news through its company communications and participating in events to help shape growth in Lancashire – as well as actively directing people to Boost’s growth support services.
Nublue’s business profile on the Boost website also provides tips and advice for local business owners embarking on growth plans, and makes the case for Lancashire as an ideal location to grow a business.
