On 22 January Lancaster-based digital agency Nublue was named as a finalist in the Marketing Minds Awards 2016, in the Agency of the Year category. The nomination recognises the company’s web design and development work with clients including the national online jewellery retailer The Jewel Hut and the petroleum engineering learning provider, Baobab.
“Thanks to our ongoing development partnership with Nublue we are on the verge of something quite new and exciting for The Jewel Hut,” says Kam Reehal, Web Manager at The Jewel Hut. “We can rest assured that Nublue will lend their expertise to our ecommerce tools and tailored hosting to enable our business to continue to grow.”
Created by Marketing Minds, a Manchester-based conference provider, the inaugural awards celebrate the best in marketing activity in the North West – recognising standout examples of innovation, passion, strategy and creativity in the region. The award winners will be announced during the awards ceremony, which takes place at Cranage Hall in Cheshire on Thursday 21st April 2016.
Shortlisted in the Agency of the Year category, Nublue shares its place on the list of finalists with north western institutions including Salford City College and The Beatles Story. Hosting this year’s awards ceremony is editor of Glamour Magazine Jo Elvin, who has previously appeared on GMTV and The Apprentice: You’re Fired, as well as having articles published in The Independent, The Observer and The Evening Standard.
“It’s fantastic to be shortlisted for this award and recognised for our achievements,” says Matt Hutchinson, Nublue’s Agency Manager. “Hard work, passion and dedication mean a lot in digital and when that’s recognised by industry experts it’s very rewarding for the team.”
