Lancaster based ecommerce specialists Nublue have been announced ecommerce award finalists for the third time this month. The latest shortlisting is for the E-commerce Awards for the category ‘Best Clothes, Shoes and Fashion Ecommerce Website’ for the website they completed on behalf of online jewellery retailer The Jewel Hut. It's the third award nomination in just a fortnight for the Lancashire agency, having recently also been nominated for two awards at this year’s Northern E-commerce awards including Best Fashion/Apparel Ecommerce Website of the year, and Large Ecommerce Agency of the Year.
The shortlisted website, www.thejewelhut.co.uk was designed and built by Nublue and features audience focussed design, responsive Magento development and upgraded product pages that boast 360 degree views of products, giving the customer a more immersive and informed shopping experience. Nublue’s agency and hosting teams had to team up together to successfully deliver a fast website capable of dealing with high levels of traffic, especially at peak times. The website has been a huge success and the award nomination is one of a few industry award nominations that the company’s work with The Jewel Hut has already garnered.

The ecommerce awards celebrate all aspects of online retail and this year the categories are split into four sections: Industry, Specialist, Business and Company. Categories covered a huge variety of ecommerce sectors and websites for businesses from banks to online grocery stores are being considered for awards.
The winners will be announced (and awards presented) at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square on Wednesday the 28th September 2016 as a part of the annual ecommerce expo event.
