Barclays, Deloitte, KPMG and the BBC are just some of the businesses already signed up to take part with some slots still available for booking.

Individuals and businesses are invited to board the tour bus to learn how to make the most of mobile by joining in with the workshops and seminars available throughout the day. Each day there will be three free workshops allowing up to 25 people to attend each session.

One of the workshops, designed to capitalize on business creativity, takes on an ‘Apprentice-style’ competition in which each business is encouraged to create ideas for an innovative mobile app relevant to their company.

The tour will end on Friday afternoon with an invite only drinks party on board the double decker bus at Spinningfields between 4pm and 6pm.

Hannah Pym, Marketing Manager of Apadmi, said: “We are thrilled to be kicking off this tour in Manchester to help other businesses tap into such a new and exciting market. Mobile and app usage is rapidly growing therefore it becomes more important that companies use mobile technology to their advantage”.

“To have big names such as the BBC, KPMG and Deloitte on board further indicates just how important it is to move forward with technology trends to maximise business potential”.
