Search, analytics and social media conference SAScon is today launching its biggest and best ever conference.
This year’s conference is being held at MMU Business School on 6-7 June 2013.
Held over two days and with three tracks and four keynotes, the conference boasts over 30 sessions, 50 speakers and 300 attendees.
The first keynote to be announced is Clancy Childs of Google Analytics. Now a ubiquitous tool for marketers, Google Analytics measures and evaluates the effectiveness of their campaigns.
Measuring online performance has always been digital marketing’s biggest challenge. Clancy will be talking about the challenges and opportunities facing digital marketers in the future and the tools that we are developing to help.
Clancy will be on hand to tell us what the future holds for analytics and will also focus on how to get the best out of organic and paid search tactics.
Clancy Childs said, "The amount and depth of data available to digital marketers is growing exponentially and is becoming increasingly complex. However, the principles of marketing don't necessarily need to change due to this explosion of data. The modern digital marketer needs to make sure that they are employing the correct tools, analysis and data to make sure they are getting the right message in front of the right customers at the right time. We're working hard on making that as easy as possible and turn some of these data challenges into opportunities."
Richard Gregory, Chief Operating Officer of Latitude and a founder of SAScon, said, “For two days Manchester becomes the centre of the search, analytics and social media world. This year’s SAScon is bigger, better and bolder, with international key notes and speakers flying in from all over the world.
“With a new larger, purpose built venue and keynote speakers of the calibre of Clancy Childs from Google Analytics SAScon continues to get better year on year.”
SAScon was set up by Richard Gregory, managing director of Latitude, Simon Wharton, managing director of PushON, Pete Young, search and social director at Mediacom, Richard Hudson, managing director of Vanilla Storm and Pete Cobley, commercial director of homejames.
SAScon 2013’s headline sponsor is Manual Link Building. Melbourne and MajesticSEO have also sponsored the event.
