MLP Law (formerly Myers Lister Price), one of the leading commercial and private client law firms in the North West, is continuing with its ambitious plans for expansion by opening up a new office in Liverpool.
MLP Law, which already has an office at MediaCityUK (Salford Quays) in addition to its head office in Altrincham, delivers a full range of legal services to business owners and entrepreneurs across a range of sectors, with specialisms in family businesses, healthcare, IT, and the digital and creative industries. The team is highly skilled in advising clients on matters such as litigation disputes, employment law and intellectual property, whilst also offering private client services, such as family law and wills, trusts and probate advice.
MLP Law made the decision to open a new office in Liverpool after recognising opportunities to deliver expert and practical legal advice to the city’s growing business network.
Liverpool has become a hub for global businesses, after benefitting from a multi-billion pound investment that has transformed the city over the last two decades. Companies are now flocking to the city due to the business and investment opportunities that Liverpool has to offer and MLP recognised that many are requiring straightforward, commercial insight and legal advice.
The new office, which is based on Penny Lane, Liverpool, is headed up by Lesley Gill, director and head of wills, trusts and probate.
Lesley Gill, director and head of wills, trusts and probate at MLP Law, said: "This is a very exciting time for everyone at MLP Law as we continue to expand the business. We are experiencing an important period of growth and this move helps us strengthen our offering as a specialist commercial law firm to businesses across the region.
"Liverpool is a thriving location for businesses and this is why we chose to open our new office here. Through widening our geographic accessibility to our clients we are even better placed to provide them with jargon-free, solution-driven legal insight and advice for both their business and their personal affairs, in order to help them map out their plans for the future."
Stephen Attree, managing director of MLP Law, said: “It's been a tough time for the legal sector over the last couple of years and law firms have faced many changes and challenges. However, we're proud that we’re still continuing to grow in response to the volumes of client work we’re receiving."
