Space 48 has announced the appointment of five new members of staff – due to a series of account wins and extended projects.
The award-winning eCommerce agency, which has offices in Warrington, has had a superb financial year with a 69 per cent increase in turnover, and account wins including international make-up artist, Charlotte Tilbury and the UK’s largest equestrian retailers, Naylors.
The new team members include an officer manager, who will be responsible for the organisation and logistics of the office, a digital marketing executive, who will be working within the extended digital marketing team, and three web developers.
The appointment of the office manager has been one of the firm’s most fundamental developments, as it represents the advances of the business with the progression to a larger agency office structure.
Space 48 endeavours to employ a percentage graduate level staff, as an answer to the digital skills shortage and youth unemployment. Therefore, two of recent appointments are of graduate level. Space 48 actively engages with young talent and has a graduate training and skills scheme in place.
Commenting on the new hires, managing director, Jon Woodall, said: “To support our continuing growth, we’re investing in high quality talent to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients. All five hires have settled into the team extremely well and already delivering fantastic results.
“We’re always on the lookout for talented graduates and we’re particularly proud of our graduate recruits as they both have demonstrated real enthusiasm for the job and a willingness to learn.
“It’s an exciting time for the business at the moment and it’s fantastic to see it continue to expand.”
