Cherry Red, the legendary Punk and Post-Punk record label, has teamed up with Manchester-based agency PushON to unleash a rebellious new eCommerce website on the Adobe Commerce platform.
In a battle of the bands that pitted agencies and platforms against each other, PushON emerged as the headlining act to propel this audacious label into the future.
With roots dating back to 1978, Cherry Red has been moshing at the forefront of punk, churning out groundbreaking records by punk and post punk pioneers such as Everything but the Girl, Dead Kennedys, Hawkwind, Felt, and The Monochrome Set.
While they've been slam-dancing online successfully for years, Cherry Red wanted to crank up the volume and give their fiercely loyal fans exactly what they crave, with speed and ease.
They have been trading successfully online for many years but were looking to significantly extend their ability to provide their very particular customers with exactly what they were looking for quickly and easily.
The nature of their audience can place extreme demands on their website infrastructure when a new release goes live. Adobe’s scalable Adobe Commerce Cloud infrastructure caters for massive spikes in demand as a matter of course leading to happy customers with great products.
