Manchester-based technology company SafetyCulture has achieved Great Place To Work Certification™ in the UK for “creating an amazing employee experience.”
Great Place To Work independently assessed the award based on an in-depth anonymous employee survey and data about our history and demographics.
In the survey for this award, 96% of SafetyCulture’s employees agreed, “I’m proud to tell others I work here,” and the same proportion agreed that when joining the company, “you are made to feel welcome.”
Since opening in the UK in 2016, SafetyCulture now employs more than 65 people who work EMEA-wide from its Manchester HQ in customer success, sales, marketing and operations roles.
Commenting on the certification success, SafetyCulture’s Alexander Brooks-Sykes said: “Gaining this recognition means a lot to us as a business, as we aim to foster a culture that is equally inclusive, supportive, and high-performing.
“Our culture isn’t about the free lunches and ping-pong. For me, it's about embodying our values alongside a shared sense of pride in working for SafetyCulture.
“We’re really proud to be based in the North West of England, and of the diverse make-up of our people, which brings diversity of ideas and perspectives with it. The leadership team is committed to positively impacting our customers – and to achieve that, we’ve created a workplace that allows everyone to do the best work of their lives. People with a sense of purpose will always be welcome here.”
SafetyCulture recently expanded into a new 10,000 sq ft Manchester office that boasts an in-house chef, a library and games room, unique meeting rooms, and ‘recording booth’ pods that nod to Manchester’s music scene.
UK employees benefit from flexible and hybrid working, wellbeing initiatives, progressive leave policies, personal development, the opportunity to participate in hackathons and, of course, overseas trips on our company offsite, ShipIt!
