Digital innovation agency Skylab has been named as one of a select group of companies, chosen by the Department for International Trade to act as an Export Champion for the Northern Powerhouse.
Export Champions are companies that have successfully sold overseas and who are prepared to encourage others to consider growing their international business through exporting. Export Champions help share their success stories for export and international trade, along with tips and advice to other organisations looking to export. In an attempt to help other organisations grow their export opportunities, Skylab has delivered presentations and workshops on how to create digital strategies for export that maximise revenue.

To achieve this ambitious goal, we need to be very focused on taking our expertise in digital strategy, websites and applications to a global audience. The Northern Powerhouse is a concept to bring together the great cities, towns and rural communities of the North of England and Wales, to become a powerhouse for the United Kingdom’s wider economy. This is set to be achieved by improvement of transport links, a revolutionary new style of governance and increased investment.
