Smoking Gun has appointed Lee Simpson as B2B senior account director. Lee is the latest strategic hire for the globally-renowned, multi-award winning marcomms agency as it looks set to close the year seeing record growth.
Formerly of Skout PR, where he headed up the agency’s tech practice, Lee is joining the agency to work with commercial director and head of B2B Caroline Aspinall to continue to grow Smoking Gun’s B2B division.
Commenting on his appointment Lee said: “I’m delighted to be joining Smoking Gun. The agency has such an incredible reputation and I can’t wait to see how the B2B division will continue to grow and how I can contribute to that.

Smoking Gun’s B2B division delivers creative campaigns for a range of clients which include ESP Play, QUEST Electrical, Landwood Property Group, American Golf and Variety the children’s charity. Additionally, the agency recently won Gold in the B2B Campaign of the Year at the PR Moment Awards for its work with retail tech giant Dee Set.
