Move over sports division, instead brand building agency Smoking Gun’s homes and interiors team has been appointed to promote the latest World Cup to hit UK shores, the Interflora World Cup.
The Interflora World Cup is the world’s most prestigious floral design competition - and it heads to the UK for the very first time this September 7-9 in Manchester.
It is floristry like you’ve never seen it before - with 20 competitors from countries from around the globe including the UK, South Korea, Peru, Canada and Finland battling it out to create the most elite, cutting-edge floral designs. Imagine the Olympics crossed with the Chelsea Flower Show, then add extra drama.
From gorgeous, giant orbs bursting with colour, to towering forests of extraordinary stems and breathtaking sculptural showstoppers - ticket holders will be treated to a truly unique experience at Manchester’s Central Hall.
Erica Nicholson, Senior Brand Manager at Interflora comments: “The Interflora World Cup is the flagship event in the competitive floristry world - bringing together the greatest floral designers from across the globe.”
Smoking Gun MD Rick Guttridge said: “Who knew there could be so much drama and back stories in the world of competitive floristry? The colour and characters involved are ripe for our blend of immersive storytelling and my team has hit the ground running securing widespread coverage with the angles we’ve unearthed - with so much more to come.”
