Twine Enterprise: A New Way For Agencies To Find Quality Creatives

Twine is an online marketplace that helps companies hire quality creative professionals to help grow their businesses.

The Twine marketplace has over 210,000 creative professionals and freelancers in design, animation, music and film. They handpick the best quality freelancers for each project, saving businesses time and money, whilst ensuring a high quality result.

Previously, Twine successfully worked in the SME space, connecting small companies to creative talent to make high quality content, such as graphic design, branding and explainer videos.

They’ve now expanded Twine to work with agencies, helping them hire quickly without the costs of recruiters, sourcing creatives locally or internationally at a high quality, and simplifying the HR process of working with freelancers. Twine helps agencies simplify their ‘black book’ by managing all communication, contracts and payments in one place to save them time so they can focus on growing their businesses.

Stuart Logan (Twine’s CEO) says: “It’s a constant challenge for agencies to hire quality creative talent. Everyday, agencies hire creative professionals to meet client's needs for content. This is especially true in the creative and marketing departments due to seven consecutive years of double-digit growth in the content marketing.

“In fact, there are 52 million SMEs in Europe and US, they spend on average £24,000 a year on marketing and 32% of that budget is now for content marketing. That's £400 billion a year that is spent on content marketing.”

“The main problem they face is they can't find enough top quality creative freelancers, which always leads to slower growth. Twine provides agencies with a better way to hire creative professionals, so they can grow faster, hire within a day, and be better equipped to meet their client’s needs, without the high cost of recruiters.”

With Twine, creative freelancers and professionals can build a visual portfolio, collaborate with other like-minded creatives and find exciting new job opportunities.

Stuart Logan says: “Agencies are bringing a whole new dimension to the types of creative projects that get posted on Twine, which is really exciting for any creative freelancers looking to grow their career.“

Twine has been backed by a number of high profile North West based institutional investors and angel investors, including GMCA, AXM and Creative England.

Herb Kim, founder of tech conference Thinking Digital Conference and Executive Chairman of Tech North, said “My decision to invest in Twine was driven by my belief in Stuart Logan’s integrity and ability. Do I think Twine are fulfilling a real need with a compelling solution? My answer is a resounding yes.”

GMCA Lead Member for Investment and Finance, Councillor Kieran Quinn, said, “It would have been foolish of the GMCA not to take the opportunity to invest in Twine. As a network for almost 200,000 creative professionals it is a key organisation that will help us to meet our ambitions to grow the digital economy in the region and provide the high-skilled, highly-paid jobs that we need to ensure that Greater Manchester prospers.”
