With over 15 years of attending SEO conferences across the world under his belt, the event’s organiser Charlie Whitworth has been keen to create a conference that has all of the good elements and none of the bad when it comes to HIVE MCR’s format.
Charlie said of his new idea for an SEO conference; “The things we want to walk away from an SEO event with are actionable insight, some perks such as nice refreshments and a comfortable atmosphere and also memories of a good social. That’s what we have tried to achieve with the event, and with our line-up and iconic venue, we’re confident of achieving just that”
The venue really is an iconic backdrop in the shape of New Century Hall, a venue that has hosted legends such as Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, and Tina Turner over the years, and hosts a range of genres to this day.
HIVE MCR features only top-tier experts in technical SEO, digital PR, and UX and the format of more panels than talks, and the chance for the audience to interact sets it apart from your average SEO conference. Guests are also being invited to submit their questions for the speakers, which will inform the panels on the day.
The concluding fireside chat will be hosted by the hugely respected industry expert Stephen Kenwright and this will ensure that all the pertinent topics are covered and guests have all the knowledge the came for, before enjoying the evening’s festivities.
The summer party then starts with complimentary food and drink, before a DJ spins all the songs that have been requested by guests and many more. The New Century Hall bar is well equipped for some of the city’s biggest gigs, so will be the perfect setting for the ultimate SEO party.
Hive MCR is also set up to accommodate guests from across the UK, with a post lunch start time, allowing ample travel time to Manchester.
